Is Jessica Jung preparing to release a new album? A source close to the star may have accidentally spilled the beans on the singer's next music project.
On Oct. 4, stylist Kim Woori posted a photo with Jessica on Instagram. On the caption, Kim wrote, as translated by allkpop, "Jessica, you became [prettier] since I last saw you. We were both so busy traveling overseas. We always said that we should meet up soon, and here we are finally. Good luck on recording the new album and we should go sometime soon too."
So far, Jessica's camp has not confirmed anything yet with regard to a new album release. Kim's statement, however, has left fans excited about her potential comeback.
Jessica released her first solo album in May this year, titled "With Love, J." The album is the singer's first outside of her former group Girls' Generation. The EP contained six tracks, many of which she co-wrote. The "Fly" singer said it was her first time to actually participate in the creative process of the whole album.
"I probably spent more time in the studio for this one album than I have in all of my previous years combined," Jessica told Billboard about her participation. For "With Love, J," Jessica worked with two producers in the United States, namely Fabolous and Kmack. An English version of the album also came out on the same month.
The 27-year-old artist and fashion mogul stated that her fans were her biggest inspiration in making the album. "My biggest motivation was my fans. They were always so supportive and I always wanted to do something for them," Jessica said. The album was an overall chart-topper and scored high numbers in terms of digital and physical sale.
Meanwhile, Jessica just recently released a new line of sweatshirts for Blanc & Eclare's fall 2016 collection. Starting November, the singer and actress will embark on her first ever Asia fan meeting tour, which will kick off in Singapore.
