After several controversies that affected his public image, South Korean singer Se7en has revealed in a press conference for his latest album “I AM Se7en” how he deals with haters.
“I know people are not looking at me pleasantly, and I've also been reading all the comments. I tend to keep in mind the helpful words and ignore the ones that are ridiculous. I don't get hurt from them,” the 31-year-old star stated on October 13 as quoted by All Kpop.
Meanwhile, Se7en has recently talked about the massage parlor controversy alongside singer Sangchu during the course of their military service in 2013 on the variety show “Happy Together”. It can be recalled that the two artists were given military prison sentences for violating military regulations because of the incident.
"I always felt sorry and repentant, but because I was in the military during that time, I did not have a chance to properly explain myself. Instead of defending myself, I wanted to apologize first,” said Se7en as quoted by All Kpop.
"I wanted to talk about deserting the place of duty, and I thought that I would have an opportunity to talk when I would start working again, but when the articles about my dating were released, I was confused. I wonder if I will have a chance to muster up courage and discuss this,” the singer added.
Born as Choi Dong Wook, Se7en made his entertainment debut in 2003 with the single "Come Back To Me” under the management of YG Entertainment. Four years later, he entered the world of acting through the TV drama series “Goong S”.
