"Tokyo Ghoul:re" continues with the anticipated meeting of Furuta and Kaneki. While their meeting was cordial, the latest chapter reveals important information about the ghouls especially on Furuta's Washuu organization.
Chapter 101 Recap
Chapter 101 of the popular horror manga series "Tokyo Ghoul:re" is already online through Manga Stream. Kaneki and Furuta has finally met and even though their meeting was casual and seemingly friendly, it was revealed that Furuta is already aware of Kaneki's situation and status as the One Eyed King. The chapter also revealed Kaneki's selection in becoming a ghoul against his will.
Kaneki has already gone a long way as a ghoul but according to Furuta, he was simply at the right place and the right time when Furuta dropped the steel beams on her. Kaneki and Furuta also talked about the leadership role of the latter now that he heads the Washuu organization. Furuta is also looking to gain the leadership role in CCG even though everyone is still debating the organization's future.
The 22nd and 19th Ward of the CCG organization appears to be under attack from various ghouls. No one knows who leads the attack but they believe the attack is inspired by the OEK.
Kaneki talks to his group about his latest discussion with Furuta. Although the reason for his request is not yet revealed, Kaneki asked the group to prepare the white suits.
The chapter ends with Akira getting medical attention with very minimal success from Banjou and Takizawa. Nico arrives offering help to everyone.

The Reddit comments on the latest chapter focuses on Furuta and Kaneki's encounter that gives a glimpse on Furuta's willingness to do everything for his advancement. His decision to attack Rize will also influence his decision to do everything to get on top of CCG so he could finally destroy Kaneki and the other ghouls that gets in his way.
The upcoming chapters will reveal the mastermind behind the attacks in two CCG wards. Ken Kaneki will also move forward with his plan in connecting with as much CCG as he can without fighting them - with white suits as his protection in case an all-out war escalates.
