It has been more than a year since the animated television series "Rick and Morty" concluded its second installment. In regards to the third season run, rumors are loud that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 might premiere this March.
According to MNA, fans of the series were said to be really unhappy regarding the said failure of the franchise to air on Jan. 9. The report also noted that the creator of the series, Dan Hamon, is now on the hot seat, given that the first two installments were very successful. It was said that Hamon is currently under a tremendous pressure in making "Rick and Morty" Season 3 within the same level with Season 1 and Season 2.
The same publication also cited the rumors that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 may have a possible crossover with "Gravity Falls." It was said that the creators of the shows are providing hints to fans regarding the crossover.
On the other note, CPost noted the statement of Justin Roiland, who is the creator and voice actor of Rick and Morty, regarding the rumors of the Jan. 9 premiere, which is clearly not true. Roiland said that he does not have any information on hand that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 was supposed to air on Jan. 9.
The same publication did also cite the scarcity of "Rick and Morty" Season 3's details. Despite that, it was said that the third season run is currently under development. In fact, it is said that Adult Swim provided a sneak preview of what fans should expect in the third season of the animated series.
Based on the said preview, Morty overheard the conversation of Jessica and her friends, and that was Jessica broke up with Brad. He also heard that his dream girl, Jessica, is considering to meeting someone special that she has not dated before. After hearing that, Morty immediately decided to talk to Jessica; however, he failed to do so because Rick once again took him to an adventure.
There is still no official confirmation regarding the release date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, but fans are reported to be speculating of a March air date.
