Niantic has released a new "Pokémon Go" update that fixes the boot time and phone connectivity issues in the game. Players now experience faster load time and can connect to Pokemon Go Plus accessory after downloading the patch versions 0.55.0 and 1.25,0.
The update patch 0.55.0 and 1.25.0 fix issues reported by Android and iPhone users, respectively. The "Pokémon Go" Update 0.55.0 fixes the load time on Android devices. It reduces the time it takes for the game to boot up, which gives players a better opening load time. Likewise, the update enables gamers to connect their Android phone to Pokémon Go Plus accessory.
Meanwhile, the "Pokémon Go" update 1.25.0 gives the added iOS wheelchair support. According to the patch notes from Niantic (via Heavy.com), this update allows the distance covered by a player in a wheelchair to be recorded during egg hatching. It follows the similar way steps are being recorded. This update is feasible for Apple Watch users. The update also have minor text fixes.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, Niantic released the 1.25.0 patch after a previous update was released for "Pokemon Go." Players reported having difficulty connecting their phone to Android devices after they applied the update. The good news is, the game developers immediately remedied the situation.
The 1.25.0 and 0.55.0 updates are reportedly just minor fixes for "Pokémon Go" and could count as a weekly fix. The patches came after Niantic released an additional Korean language support a few days ago. The developers supposedly announce a new update every two weeks on a Monday or Tuesday, so these two new patches for iPhone and Android seem like an unofficial update.
Meanwhile, Niantic has yet to announce any more character additions in "Pokemon Go." However, gamers reportedly found the code "candy award" after the 1.25.0 and 0.55.0 update download, which could hint to an additional item coming out in the nest.
