KPop idol Sungjae of the boy group BTOB revealed his close relationship with “Goblin” co-stars
Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook on his recent appearance on SBS “One Night of Entertainment”.
The 21-year-old star admitted he is still communicating with Gong and Lee even though the drama has already ended on January 21. He further expressed his gladness every time he hears positive reviews from the viewers about the show.
"Upon receiving the casting offer for tvN's 'Goblin', I immediately accepted it without even looking at the script… I talk frequently with Lee Dong Wook over the phone, as well as Gong Yoo… When I sit at a restaurant, I often hear people at the next table chatting about 'Goblin' and it makes me feel proud listening to them say that I'm good looking,” said Sungjae as quoted by All KPop.
Considered as highest rated tvN drama,“Goblin” unfolds the story of an other world creature named Kim Shin, played by Gong, who is in search for a bride who could cast away his immortality. In the drama, Sungjae portrays the role of Yoo Deok Hwa, the rebellious heir of a wealthy family whose body was used by The Almighty to communicate to Goblin, Grim Reaper (played by Lee Dong Wook), and Samshin.
Meanwhile, BTOB fans are currently in rage against Cube Entertainment after it has announced that Sungjae won’t be able to make it to the vacation reward of the “Goblin's” casts as he has prior commitments such as filming “Laws of the Jungle in Sumatra” as well as preparing for his band’s upcoming album, All KPop reported. However, the supporters pointed out the star deserved to join the getaway as he had also work hard in the making of the series. Furthermore, they added that the artist will be returning from Sumatra on February 4 and that he could still go as the “Goblin” casts will be leaving on February 6.
