KPop idol Kim Se Jung of the girl group Gugudan has opened up about how her recent collaboration project with “Big Issue” magazine has enlightened her about the reality the marginalized people in Korea are facing nowadays.
According to the 20-year-old beauty as quoted by All Kpop: "I was able to learn through 'Big Issue' that there are a lot of homeless people in Korea and that they need attention.”
She added encouraging everyone to be completely mindful of their surrounding saying, “ I believe that singles are the people who participate most vigorously in raising awareness for the homeless. Please don't forget that your awareness can change others' lives."
Aside from sharing her thoughts during the interview, Kim also had a photo shoot with the magazine. In the shots released by the publication, the singer showcased her refreshing and natural look for the camera.
In one of the photos, Kim looked divine in her neat printed long-sleeved top matched with a pair of red earring and a perfect smile. The next image, on the other hand, showed the innocent side of the star in a long colorful black dress paired with gray sandals. Half of the magazine’s proceeds will be donated to the homeless people in Korea.
Meanwhile, Kim recently appeared as the special MC for KBS 2TV’s travel variety show “Battle Trip” to fill in rapper San E’s place as he travels to the Jeju Island. The Gugudan member has been part of the show for two weeks, Soompi reports.
Kim began her entertainment in 2016 after joining the girl group survival show ”Produce 101”. She later became part of Gugudan alongside Mimi, Hana, Haebin, Nayoung, Sally, Soyee, Mina and Hyeyeon under the management of Jellyfish Entertainment.
