Two of TVB’s biggest talents Gallen Lo and Adia Chan graced the annual star-studded ‘Carita’s Charity Show’ with special performances on Sunday, June 26.
According to Jayne Stars, together with one of Hong Kong’s well-known music group Chinese Orchestra, Lo performed the song ‘Qin Shi Huang.’
Chan, on the other hand, entertained the audience with her three numbers which include ‘Sad No More,’ ‘Compassion of Parents,' and ‘Blessings.’
The two artists received applauses from the audience.
Lo, 53, revealed during a backstage interview that he just finished his latest drama series ‘The Conspirators’ with TVB where he plays the role of the CEO of a large shopping company. This year is the actor’s comeback in the network after his last TV project ‘Born Rich’ in 2009.
Meanwhile, Chan, 45, who started her career in show business at the age of 14, also has a show with TVB entitled ‘Full-Time Nowhere Woman.’ The drama series will end this week.
‘Carita’s Charity Show’ is a yearly event which aims to raise donations for charities.
It is under the management of the Caritas-Hong Kong, an organization which offers relief and rehabilitation services to the poor and the distressed. The group aims to address the social hardships and imbalances in Hong Kong.
