Meanwhile, Movie Pilot reported that there is a possibility for a completely new story arc in the upcoming "Daredevil" Season 3. It is also expected that new villains will be added, as the previous seasons of the show included a lot of infamous Marvel villains.
Since Matt has already crossed paths with Frank Castle and has whitewashed Wilson Fisk, a new adversary is likely to appear in "Daredevil" Season 3, which led to speculation that it may be Bullseye. Matt and Karen's love story also ended with a cliffhanger in the last season, and though there are no confirmations yet, there could be a possibility that "Daredevil" Season 3 could reveal the fate of their relationship.
Although the renewal was announced, Netflix did not reveal as to when "Daredevil" Season 3 was scheduled. According to Den of Geek, Marvel is trying to maintain a six month schedule for their Netflix shows'. Given the line-up of shows, including "Jessica Jones," 'Luke Cage" and the production of "Iron Fist," "Daredevil" Season 3 may be seeing a 2017 release.
