"The Walking Dead" released a sneak peak of what's to come in Season 7, featuring a road filled with zombies. The new trailer is keeping everyone guessing on who will be found dead by the start of the upcoming season.
The clip shows Dwight (Austin Amelio) on the road, alone with his motorcycle as he encounters a number of disabled zombies along the way; however, the clip cuts when he presumably destroys one of the zombies. It is unclear what Dwight is up to nor does it show where he is going.
Dwight is a high-ranking member of the Saviors. In "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale, he was seen subduing Rosita, Michonne, Glenn and Daryl. Curiously, he seems to be wearing Daryl's vest on the clip.
Up to this point, it is not yet clear which character will meet his or her untimely demise, but those who survive Negan's wrath will move out of Alexandria and hit the road to explore new worlds. The remaining heroes will presumably meet new characters down the road that will help them defeat Negan and his posse, Screen Rant reported.
In the conclusion of Season 6, fans were kept in the dark regarding the identity of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim. Season 7 will reportedly pickup from that cliff hanger and Negan's victim will be revealed, TV Line reported.
So far, the series has done a good job of keeping spoilers under wraps for "the Walking Dead" Season 7. There is a good chance that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) will be safe according to reports.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 airs on Oct. 23.
