After settling down with her long-time boyfriend, Brian Hung earlier this year, Hong Kong-based pop superstar Kary Ng announced on her Facebook page during her 30th birthday on Thursday that she will be slowing down her music career to concentrate on the new chapter of her life and enjoy the role of being a wife.

The singer disclosed that this is the reason why she will not be releasing a new album this year.

Although Kary will not be seen performing on the stage often, she assured her fans that her love for music will never end. She also promised that she will continue to make good songs.

Kary, also known as ‘Lady K,’ has been active in the Hong Kong music industry for 14 years. Her decision to lay low with her career was admittedly a tough choice. In fact, she said that she had to summon a lot of courage to make the decision.

Aside from performing her duties as a wife, Kary also revealed that she will be busy keeping up with her studies and doing volunteer work.

According to AhMike, there are rumors that Kary is pregnant. Her decision to slow down her career has only supported rumors that she is pregnant. However, Kary and her management have not made an official statement regarding the issue.

Kary met Hung, who used to be known as Hong Kong’s ‘Prince of Tennis,’ when she was 13 years old. They later became a couple when she turned 20. However, their relationship has been on and off since then.

In fact, Kary was in a relationship with Hong Kong actor and singer Shawn Yue in 2013, but they eventually broke up.

Kary and Hung started dating again in June 2015 and got married in the United States in January this year.
