South Korean singer, actor and EXO member Chanyeol’s collaboration song with the popular American hip hop-EDM group Far East Movement titled “Freal Luv” was finally published online.
Released on October 3 by the label Transparent Agency on its YouTube page, “Freal Luv” features an upbeat music, cool vocals, and a futuristic concept. In the music video, Chanyeol showed off his amazing deep voice and impressive rapping skills, delivered both in Korean and English.
Aside from Chanyeol, electronic dance music producer and disc jockey Marshmello as well as singer Tinashe was also part of the song. According to a report by Soompi, the music video was reportedly filmed in Seoul and Shanghai.
Meanwhile, the Chanyeol is set to star in the upcoming TV drama series “Missing 9” alongside actress Lee Sun Bin, All Kpop reports. In the show, the 23-year-old singer-actor will portray the role of Lee Yeol, a playboy and a member of a group named “Dreamer”. Lee, on the other hand, will play the character of a brat and renowned Ha Ji Ah.
Previously, “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” star Kang Ha Neul was offered to play Chanyeol’s character. However, due to some changes in the production, the EXO member ended up having the project role.
Chanyeol started his career in the entertainment industry in 2012 after joining one of Korea’s most popular boy group EXO. He is the main rapper of the group as well as its sub-unit EXO-K.
Aside from his affiliation with his band, the KPop idol also starred in various drama projects. In 2015, he made his big screen debut in movie “Salut d'Amour” with actress Moon Ga-young.
