There is a nostalgic feeling when you watch an old favourite TV show's new seasons in the present and remember all the good and humorous times which connected with it. Every show goes through some changes as it advances to new seasons but in recent news we come to know that "Arrested Development" will be going through a drastic change in its fifth successful season of running. The new season of the series is set to make a shocking change but the news that will shock the mind of the fans has not yet been confirmed.

In recent light, CinemaBlend explains that the 5^th season of the "Arrested Development" might go through a major change which will shock the fans. The season is rumoured to be a prequel of the ongoing series and the show will portray the younger versions of the star cast but the shocking part is that the prequel is set so much in the past that mere changes with makeup does not suffice. The season will witness the entry of an entirely new cast which means that the fans will have to bid goodbye to the lovely cast, of the present series.

Major half of the new season will feature this prequel element which means that stars Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Jeffrey Tambor, Alia Shawkat, Jessica Walter, Tony Hale, Will Arnett and David Cross will have very less to do when the filming of the season 5 steps is in the corner. It will be difficult to imagine the story taking form without the crazy characters that we are all very fond of but the new additions in the series will give a fresh start.

According to Deadline, the Emmy-winning comedy series on Netflix has been spreading joy and happiness to the viewers since November 2, 2003 when it came out with its first season and continued till February 10, 2006 with its third season. The show then started in 2013 with the fourth season and the launch of the fifth is still under debate. The time gap created in the broadcasting of the show is due to the unavailability of dates of each star. The fifth season is well awaited and the change might bring a new sense of energy to the show.
