"Timeless" already established that the contents in Lucy's journal spurred Flynn's time-travel missions. However, Lucy might just get the chance to rewrite everything in the journal, when she finds it empty.
Lucy's journal is probably the most important element in the story. From the beginning of "Timeless," viewers learned that Flynn took to heart whatever was written in it. Her journal and his hatred for Rittenhouse prompted all his time-altering missions.
However, what if Lucy (Abigail Spencer) gets the chance to change the past events and correct mistakes? Goran Visnjic, who plays Flynn, teased that this opportunity presents itself to Lucy when she sees her journal empty.
"Lucy's going to come in touch with the real journal, that is completely empty, very soon. What's she going to put in there?" Visnjic told Entertainment Weekly.
Visnjic revealed that Lucy will get in touch with her journal very soon. He added that the next couple of episodes in "Timeless" will reveal so much about the people involved. Lucy had already written about Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and about his wife in her journal. Perhaps, fans will know more about his background story too. The actor said that viewers will soon "find out a lot about everybody."
In the same interview, the actor also teased what happens in the next two episodes of "Timeless." Visnjic revealed that viewers will meet new and interesting people, when the team again travels to another time period.
Meanwhile, Lucy soon finds out that her father is the head of Rittenhouse in the present time. The trailer for "Timeless" episode 14 finally puts her face-to-face with the man who threatens the history she desperately wants to preserve. According to Spoilers Guide, Lucy battles with this information in the episode titled "Lost Generations." She also confronts her father and promises him that she will never be a part of Rittenhouse.
